Macron congratulated the “streamers” after a nice record!
The ZEvent event raised 10 million euros for a charity. A recording. Emmanuel Macron congratulated the organizers of this project.
This charity project, named ZEvent, brought together for the fifth consecutive year dozens of French-speaking streamers in order to collect donations that will be donated this year to “Action against Hunger“.
This event was therefore broadcast on the live streaming platform Tic. After breaking a nice record last year allowing Amnesty International France to collect more than 5 million euros in donations, the streamers were therefore united this year to beat this amount. From October 29 to 31, more than fifty personalities from the web, including journalist Samuel Étienne, were present for these 72 hours of live. A real online marathon organized in a good mood around a good-natured atmosphere, all for a good cause.
In all, the ZEvent streamers managed to raise more than 10,000,000 € for the association aiming to fight against famine. This money comes from donations from strangers who have watched live the adventures of these videos well known to young people. The record of the previous year is therefore broken!
“ZEvent, you did it. A big thumbs up”
This event is starting to make more and more noise beyond the borders of the internet. Emmanuel Macron even congratulated the organizers of this project after encouraging them this year, just like last year.
By mobilizing all together, we can move mountains: you did it # ZEVENT2021, you did it again this year! A big thumbs up. https://t.co/2MGAuS7K07

The head of state who invited everyone to France, Europe and around the world gave to fight against hunger. “Thank you for staying united for our solidarity” concluded the President of the Republic in a short video posted on Twitter.
Emmanuel Macron who held, once the event was over, tweeted to congratulate the participants of this ZEvent. “By mobilizing all together, we can move mountains: you did it # ZEVENT2021, you did it again this year! A big thumbs up “.
