This is called a successful entry. Jules Perrin was late for class at the‘IUT from Annecy (Haute-Savoie), Monday 25 October 2021, after having gone to train in the heights with his sail in the morning.
While flying over his school, he said to himself that he could probably arrive on time by landing on campus, he admits in the columns of the Dauphiné Liberated, where he explains that he wanted to make a “discreet” arrival.
But the 19-year-old did not escape the phones of IUT students, who saw him land five meters from the main building.

The million views on social networks
The magic of social networks has found to transform an arrival that was meant to be a buzz on the internet. The video has more than a million views and has toured Twitter, Instagram and even Tiktok.
Be careful not to give ideas to IUT students. Julien Perrin flies solo since he was 14 and joined the Pôle Espoir in 2020.
“It’s true that it seems easy like that, but behind it, there are hundreds of flight hours, flight incident courses to learn to master the limits of sailing… It’s like in a car: we cannot start a rally when you have just obtained your license ”, he confided to the Dauphiné Liberated.
