Cycling. Meeting in Florence for a simpler, more organized and safer activity
Florence, 28 October 2021 – The title of the meeting is already “A simpler, more organized, safer cycling” it is captivating, the hope that from this Florentine meeting there will be indications and above all the same in all the provinces. The meeting was proposed by the Tuscan Regional Committee of Federciclismo with the patronage of the Tuscany Region, and representatives of the same Region, of the Tuscan Provinces and of the Prefectures of Tuscany will be present.
The meeting will be held in the Pegaso Room of the Region next Wednesday 3 November with a full day of work, open to no more than 50 people (about twenty will be auditors) for reasons related to anti Covid health protocols. Dr. Roberto Sgalla president of the National Commission of Race and Safety Directors of the FCI, the president of the Tuscan Regional Committee Saverio Metti, Francesco Zingoni, president of the Regional Commission of Race and Safety Directors.
The guests will be the presidents of the Provincial Cycling Committees of Tuscany, the members of the Regional Committee. It’s about a technical meeting and the interventions are defined by a precise lineup, so that the others present who, even if they carry out relevant and important roles and activities in the cycling field, will only be able to listen to the issues under discussion. The program includes greetings from the institutions and the organizing committee from 10 to 10.30. The main theme is that of cycling races, authorizations, ordinances, the situation in this regard.
Following are the proposals of the Tuscany Regional Committee and the CRDCS for a simplification and homogeneity of procedures in the regional context. Before the lunch break, the intervention of the institutional representatives will follow, which will also continue with the resumption of work in the early afternoon with the opening of the debate. At the end of the Florentine day, the definition (at least this is the) of the agreed guidelines with the hope of eventual planning of the project to be drawn up.
