Gender-based violence in Toulouse: the Capitole is committed
The Toulouse town hall is launching a call for projects to fight against gender-based and sexual violence against women, with a budget of 40,000 euros.
As part of its action plan for equality between women and men, the Toulouse town hall is launching an annual call for projects. Given the persistence and worsening of gender-based and sexual violence, this year is devoted to finding solutions to combat the violence suffered by girls and young women. This call has a budget of 40,000 euros, an increase of 15,000 € compared to previous years.
“Choosing this theme is to encourage the implementation of innovative and partnership projects for the use of Toulouse residents in all neighborhoods, for against sexist and sexual violence, especially among young people,” explains Capitol. This crucial issue relating to physical and psychological integrity is an essential lever for women’s access to equality and citizenship, to living together and to social cohesion ”. To be selected, the project must propose acting on the life trajectories of women and / or girls residing in Toulouse. He must submit the method used with the audiences to obtain an measurable and lasting improvement. Innovative projects, based on partnership collaboration between different structures, will be selected. The files must be submitted to the Equality of Diversity Mission of the Toulouse town hall no later than November 28 included.
