MINSK, October 26 – Sputnik. For ten months of this year, Russia is on the third delivery of pork to Belarus, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) reported on Tuesday.

“The Rosselkhoznadzor also recorded an increase in pork exports. From January 1 to October 17 this year, these products abroad amounted to 102.8 thousand tons, ”the message says.

It also notes that Vietnam is the main importer of pork (48.5 thousand tons).

With this shipment to Belarus, they grew by 33% over the period – from 14.7 thousand tons to 19.5 thousand.

At the same time, the Rosselkhoznadzor noted that the import of pork from abroad to the Russian Federation is decreasing: 4 thousand meat have been imported since the beginning of this year, which is 16% less compared to the same period in 2020.

The bulk of the revenue of Belarusian producers on the Russian market is meat and milk: in 7 months Belarus supplied the Russian Federation with food products and agricultural raw materials worth $ 2.552 billion (104.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2020).

Milk brought the most money to domestic producers – 1.196 billion, about 388 million dollars were received by meat processing plants.
