In Rome the awarding of the “Recti Eques | Italian Paladins of Health” award
The event, organized by the Liber association, saw the participation of illustrious personalities in the medical-scientific and institutional fields
The “Recti Eques” prize was awarded to ten Cavalieri del Bene, three of which were chosen from among researchers and another seven from deserving Italian citizens, representing the civilian and military categories that distinguished themselves in the period of national health emergency: the chief of the police and director general of the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of the Interior Lamberto Giannini, the government’s extraordinary commissioner for the Covid-19 emergency Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, the president of the Italian Red Cross Francesco Rocca, the general secretary of the Italian Federation of general practitioners Silvestro Scotti, the president of the National Federation of Orders of Nursing Professions Barbara Mangiacavalli, the national president of the Italian Association of Health and Social Workers Laura Mantione and the head of the Civil Protection Department Fabrizio Curcio.
the event – Present at the event were the researchers protagonists of the book “Italian Paladins of Health”, the new editorial project of the RDE publishing house, presented to the public during the event, and the ambassadors of the solidarity initiative #ricercaitalianaperlavita.
During the event, a round table was held on the theme “The future of health care and the economy in post-Covid Italy, which was attended, among others, by Walter Ricciardi, president of the World Federation of Public Health, Andrea Crisanti, full professor of Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology, e Giovanni Rezza, Director General of Prevention at the Ministry of Health.
