World Health Summit – Experts discuss in Berlin
The World Health Summit begins today in Berlin.
Around 6,000 experts from 100 nations spent three days discussing the global situation. The expected speakers include WHO chief Tedros, UN Secretary-General Guterres, EU Commission President von der Leyen, Federal Health Minister Spahn and the German virologist Drosten. Topics at this year’s summit include vaccination justice, health as a global good and the use of artificial intelligence.
The event lasts until October 26th and can be followed online. The forum, founded in 2009, regularly includes representatives from science, politics and civil society.
