Exposure. A street in Toulouse becomes an open-air art gallery
Keep your eyes open. Twenty-three shopkeepers in a Toulouse street are exhibiting works by local artists in their windows until November 30.
When a whole street becomes an exhibition hall. Twenty-three merchants on rue Bayart, in downtown Toulouse, exhibit works by 23 artists in their windows as part of Bayart ‘Street. The exhibit remains in place until November 30.
This exhibition “aims to make the rue Bayard and by extension the Bayard-Matabiau district, a real meeting place and sharing around art in all its forms”, explain the organizers on the presentation page of the ‘ ‘event.
Among the artists taking part in this exhibition are Boris Frantz, Christophe Gros, Kali, Mr 2700, Snake, Sike, Xerou, and Younes Frahi.
And as in the largest exhibitions, guided tours are offered to present and explain the work of the artists.
