Slovakia c / a turns into a deficit in August

Slovakia reported a current account deficit of 527 million euros in August, compared with a surplus of 193 million euros in the corresponding month a year earlier, the central bank said in a report.
The goods account fell to € 374 million from a surplus of € 213 million a year ago and the services account surplus fell to € 66 million from € 167 million.
Meanwhile, the primary account changed to a surplus of € 133 million from a deficit of € 86 million and the deficit on secondary income narrowed to € 58 million from € 99 million.
