Friday October 22, 2021, the Lemonnier Institute of Caen (Calvados) had taken the lead and launched the 16e edition of the Rochambelle, organized until October 31 as a tour through Normandy due to the Covid pandemic.
A 5 km walk
45 women working within the Institute, teaching or administrative staff, responded to the call of the organizing team, for a 5 km walk through the Pierre-Heuzé and Saint-Jean-Eudes districts, to along the canal. Vincent Grégoire, the director general of the Institute, which includes a general, technological and professional high school, but also an agricultural high school and higher education, is delighted:
It is a collective initiative and a unifying event within the establishment. We fully share the values of La Rochembelle.
This year, 25 cities were labeled across the region, and offered routes to participants. All registrations registered since October 1 (€ 16) will be donated to the fight against cancer.
