Bordeaux : deux proxénètes itinérants interpellés
Two young people in their twenties were arrested on October 18 after a traffic violation. They were referred, this Friday 22, for aggravated pimping
It is a banal violation of the Highway Code which brought two friends before the Bordeaux justice this Friday, October 22. A 22-year-old Angolan and a 21-year-old Sudanese man were brought before a public prosecutor, then before the criminal court, to answer for pimping aggravated by most of the victims.
Monday, October 18, while the two young men are driving through Bordeaux, they attract the attention of a police patrol from the anti-crime brigade (BAC). Controlled, they are found in possession of an eraser gun as well as 1,575 euros in cash. The passenger is also carrying a few grams of cannabis resin.
From town to town
Placed in custody at the central police station, they declared themselves not to be very talkative, but the use of their phones enabled investigators from the pimping brigade of the Unit in charge of the fight against the underground economy (Uses) of the Sûreté departmental to discover messages on their phone, as well as consultations on dating sites.
The police push their curiosity a little more and very quickly understand that they are facing two young pimps. When questioned, they end up recognizing traveling from city to city, accompanied by four girls, who prostitute themselves in apartments rented on Airbnb. Before arriving in Bordeaux days ago, the team had stayed in Toulouse, Montpellier and Avignon. Identified, the four young women, aged 18 to 22, admitted to engaging in prostitution to earn easy money. They offered services of 80 to 150 euros and could earn a daily salary of 1,200 euros. The police estimated their earnings around 300,000 euros over the past six months. All the benefits were received in part in cash, and part claimed from the two men, one of whom was subject to a procedure for abandonment of the national territory.
