A red wave sweeps over Austria

Cluster in the children’s hospital: operations postponed
The situation is particularly bad in the Melk district (Lower Austria). The seven-day incidence has increased to 652.8. From Saturday there will be exit controls.
Ten cases in hospital. The famous St. Anna Children’s Hospital in Vienna has to cut back on its work: ten employees from two wards are infected, the first operations are postponed.

Vienna and Salzburg are in the forecast above the 20% mark. At 33% it becomes critical. 15% of the intensive care beds in Vienna are currently occupied.
