the Rouen Normandy Rugby will have to take up a big challenge on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Robert Diochon stadium : he will face it Oyonnax (Ain), one of the contenders for the rise in Top 14, current 3rd of Pro D2.
Two defeats against four victories
Rouen (Seine-Maritime) remains on two defeats against Grenoble and Mont-de-Marsan. Oyonnax shows the opposite dynamic: four wins in the last four games. Friday, October 15, he crushed Montauban 56-6. To hope for a good result, Nicolas Godignon’s players will have to be solid on their fundamentals and above all be more disciplined. The Lions are indeed too often sanctioned by the referees. Against Grenoble, ten penalties had not been whistled against them after only 30 minutes of play.
With each match, the Robert Diochon stadium welcomes more spectators. Facing Narbonne, there were 2,600. Facing Grenoble, they were 4,200. The duel against the Oyomen should attract people.
A concert at the end of the match
At the end of the match against Oyonnax, at the Horlaville stand, the Fab5 group will give a concert. On the menu: covers of Radiohead, Coldplay, U2, Muse… Free concert, offered by the RNR to its supporters.
