You don’t know what to do with your old phone that lies at the bottom of your drawer? the Greater Annecy (Haute-Savoie) and the company Orange offers to recover, in order to repackage it and give it a second life, or for the recycler.
Shelves and accessories (charger, cable) can also be given. The objective of the initiative is to reduce the environmental impact of this type of device, which can sometimes still be used. Collecting a place until November 20 2021.
Collection points set up in several municipalities
You can donate your phones, tablets or accessories to collection points installed in various participating municipalities of the agglomeration, namely: Annecy, Argonay, Chavanod, Epagny Metz-Tessy, Alby-sur-Chéran, Allèves, Bluffy, Chapeiry, Héry-sur-Alby, Nâves-Parmelan, Poisy, Saint- Félix, Fillière and Saint-Eustache.

When possible, your device will be sorted and then reconditioned in an Emmaus workshop, then will be resold. If it is too bad, it will be to recycle. And the personal data of phones and tablets will be erased beforehand.
All proceeds finance the actions of Emmaus International, but also the development of a similar collection channel in Africa.
