Toulouse recruits municipal police officers
After the announcement of the increase in the workforce of the municipal police of Toulouse by one hundred positions by 2026, made by the mayor of the Pink City, the first recruitments are underway.
The staff of the municipal police of Toulouse will increase by one hundred positions. They will increase from 350 to 450 agents by 2026, according to an announcement made by the mayor of the Pink City, Jean-Luc Moudenc, on the occasion of his back-to-school press conference on September 15. “The first recruitments have started. New candidates can apply now and until November 10, ”announces the town hall in its weekly newsletter.
As a reminder, Jean-Luc Moudenc wants the number of their patrol to be doubled. Also, the municipal police set up permanence in each district, “so that Toulouse residents can dialogue directly with their police”, according to the mayor.
Based on figures from 2020, the municipal police of Toulouse is the fourth in France in terms of numbers. It is preceded by Nice and its 455 agents, Marseille and Lyon.
Practical information: applications are open until November 10; the job description is available on the Toulouse town hall website.
