Drug and alcohol users one after the other in self-control

During a traffic control in Salzburg-Liefering, the police caught two drug drivers and an alcoholic woman in a row on Friday evening. All fields of the officers by their driving style or by the smell of drugs.
It started with an 18-year-old German who came towards the police patrol in the middle of Lieferinger Hauptstrasse at around 6 p.m. The officers stopped the man. An alcohol test with him turned out negative, but the drug test showed evidence of THC – the active ingredient in cannabis – and cocaine. The police also found small amounts of cannabis in the car. The 18-year-old had to surrender his driver’s license and was forbidden to continue driving. It is also displayed.
Strong cannabis smell from passing car
When the officers finished this check, a car drove past them that smelled strongly of cannabis. The police followed the vehicle and stopped it. The handlebar – a 39-year-old Bosnian – also tested positive for THC. His driver’s license was also taken from him and he is reported.
And only a little later – after another traffic control – a 39-year-old driver rammed the parked car. The police noticed that she had a strong smell of alcohol. The woman refused to take an alcohol test and did not have a driver’s license with her. The officers therefore take her car keys from her and report a complaint.
As early as Friday afternoon, an 18-year-old driver was stopped in the city of Salzburg because of the influence of drugs at the wheel. The young man had to hand in his test driver’s license. It is also displayed.
