Salzburg (OTS) – October 11th is International Coming-Out Day. A special day for people from the LGBTIQ * community, including homosexuals, bisexuals, trans * and inter * people. Those who have already come out will always remember their first coming out moment. And those who still have to face it, usually look at them with mixed feelings own “Coming Out Day”. Coming out is often experienced as a liberation. The need for hiding is eliminated and your own identity, experiences and desires can be shared with others.
The Coming Out Day should encourage you to take this step and stand by yourself.
“Above all, a fear-free workplace, as well as an environment that accepts you, should now be a matter of course. And yet people from the LGBTIQ * community are still exposed to discrimination and hatred, ”says Josef Lindner jun., Chairman of HOSI Salzburg.
