Norway, Sweden and Denmark have suspended almost all infection control. They are completely different from the rest of the world.
The Scandinavians removed the bandage and the scale was no longer valid. But in the rest of the world, completely different rules apply.
The resumption of Norway on 25 September was a historic event. Almost all coronary arteries have been removed. The exception is entry restrictions, which will be removed gradually.
Norway is simply back to normal. Denmark and Sweden did the same. Denmark left the two northern neighbors for the first time, on 10 September, while Sweden followed on 29 September.
The main reason why Scandinavia has been able to reopen society is the high vaccination rate. 91 percent of everyone over the age of 16 has received at least one dose of the vaccine in Norway. 67 percent of the population, including all children, have been fully vaccinated. This figure is rising, as more young people will receive their second dose soon.
Scandinavia also controls the number of coronary artery disease patients in hospitals.
But the Scandinavian norm is far from normal in large parts of the world. Norway, Sweden and Denmark have become different countries in connection with Corona.
Admittedly, health authorities still recommend washing your hands frequently, staying home and testing for respiratory symptoms. You should be isolated if you have been diagnosed with covid-19.
But many foreigners who come to Norway and other Scandinavian countries will experience this part of the world as different.
