Monaco three by three, Angers no longer advances
AS Monaco won its third success in a row by dominating Bordeaux (3-0) during the 9th day of Ligue 1, while Angers, after four successes in a row, won at the finish against Metz (3- 2).
The best is confirmed for theAS Monaco. After a sluggish start to the season, marked by the cruel elimination in the Champions League play-off, the Principality’s club is in the process of moving up the standings in Ligue 1. Three days after having brought back a good draw from its trip on the lawn of Real Sociedad (1-1) in the Europa League, the training of Niko Kovac quietly took the best of Bordeaux (3-0) at the Stade Louis-II.
Goals from Aurélien Tchouaméni (35th), Aleksandr Golovin (48th) and Wissam Ben Yedder (65th sp) allowed Monaco to score their third success in a row in the league, the third by scoring three goals. ASM temporarily replaces in sixth place in the standings.
Metz still winless
At the top of the table, Angers also takes the opportunity to revive. After four games without a win, the SCO managed to dominate Metz (3-2) at the end of the suspense. The Lorrainers of Frédéric Antonetti, still looking for their first victory in the league, believed in it after goals from Bronn (10th) and Boulaya (59th), on a big mistake by Bernardoni.
