Luca Morisi investigated for drugs in Verona: he had sold drugs to three people
Luca Morisi’s name is entered in the register of suspects in Verona for the sale and discovery of drugs. The carabinieri found some doses of drugs in his farmhouse in Belfiore, a village twenty kilometers from the city where is a resident since 2003. The investigation is assigned to the public prosecutor Stefano Aresu. It all begins in August, when during a search the carabinieri stop a car with three young people on board for a check. And there is a bottle of “liquid drug”. The three, according to the version of Republic, accuse Morisi of having given it to him. The Corriere della Sera instead he writes that there is a suspicion that the now former social media manager of the League was “under observation” for a few weeks. And that the control taken on the three young people will not coincidentally be the result of monitoring his contacts. It is they, indicating him in their testimony as the drug dealer, to trigger the accusation of transfer of the substance.
The investigation into the Lega’s social guru
Article 73 of the consolidated law on narcotics sanctions any activity of transferring drugs to another person, even free of charge. The penalties range from six to twenty years’ imprisonment to a fine of between 26,000 and 260,000 euros. After the announcement of his resignation from the management positions of the social “Beast” of the Carroccio, a date made official for “family reasons”, rumors circulated in Parliament about the real reasons for the farewell. The Corriere also says that someone speculates that computer equipment was also seized from his farmhouse in Belfiore. Republic instead he writes that the liquid found in the three boys’ car was sent to the Carabinieri analysis laboratory which works in the Northeast but that the results have not yet arrived. Many drugs have liquid form: from Ghb (liquid ecstasy) to Gbl, the so-called “rape drug”.
The investigation into the sale of drugs against Luca Morisi is therefore the real reason for his farewell to the League. “I thank everyone for their interest and friendship: I’m fine, there is no political problem, in this period I just need to get away for some time for family questions”, he had instead made it known in a message in the Carroccio chat. Matteo Salvini had confirmed the ownership. «He had been in the air for a while, he had also moved away as a physical presence for some time – instead, last week a long-time Northern League player and well-versed in Salvini’s inner circle had argued. Being an extremely intelligent and sensitive person, Morisi understood that a cycle was over. And he drew the consequences ». It is not known if Salvini’s guru even left the post in the secretariat of the League he has been covering since 2020.
