An intoxicated 27-year-old crashed into a parked car in the Graz-Umgebung district on Saturday evening at around 8 p.m. Three people watched the accident and stood in front of the car to prevent the man from continuing his journey.
After a short exchange of words, however, the handlebars lead off and towards the trio. Another witness, a 31-year-old man, prevented himself from entering the vehicle and wanted to operate the handbrake.
However, the driver of the accident stepped on the gas and dragged the 31-year-old around 100 meters. Finally, he was able to free himself from the vehicle. He was slightly injured in the incident.
The 27-chaos driver immediately drove away in an initially unknown direction, but did not get far. The suspect was stopped at around 8.30 p.m. by a civil strife by the State Criminal Police Office. An examination finally revealed that the man was severely alcoholic. He was reported.
