Bundestag election 2021: results for the Cologne III constituency
When the polling stations close at 6 p.m. on September 26, election workers all over Germany will start counting the ballot papers. Our data center shows the results for the Cologne III constituency on election evening as soon as the numbers are available.
Every eligible voter can put two crosses on the ballot paper on the day of the election. The cross on the left is for a candidate who is then directly elected to the German parliament by direct mandate – provided that he receives the most votes in the relevant constituency. Bundestag election result: The election result for Cologne III of the last election
In 2017, 203,647 residents of constituency 95 were eligible to vote in the federal election. In the end, 150,629 people cast their vote, which corresponds to a voter turnout of 74.0 percent. The nationwide average voter turnout in 2017 was 76.2 percent.
With the first vote directly in the Bundestag, the SPD politician Rolf Mützenich was elected, who received 32.3 percent of the vote. The distribution of the first votes at a glance:
