Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection: ACCOR President and CEO Sebastien Bazin in Athens
Messrs. Bazin and Bailly were welcomed by the family of Athanasios Laskaridis and during their visit to Athens, among other things, meetings were held with the country’s political leadership and government officials.
Both the journey of Messrs. Bazin and Bailly in Greece as well as the official opening ceremony of the Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection took place in the framework of the cooperation between Accor, a world leading hotel group, and the Hellenic Hotel Company LAMPSA SA. Mr. Bazin and Ms. Chloe A. Laskaridis, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Hotels Company LAMPSA SA, welcomed at the opening event personalities from the political and business world, as well as from the tourism sector.
At the ceremony, among others, the “present” were given by Messrs. Vassilis Kikilias, Minister of Tourism, Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Development and Investment, Sofia Zacharaki, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Costas Bakogiannis, Mayor of Athens, Patrick Maisonnave, French Ambassador, Giannis Resrisos Panosmenos Hellenic Hotels LAMPSA SA, Xavier Grange SVP Head of Development Accor Southern Europe, Ian Di Tullio PhD, Chief Commercial Officer Accor Southern Europe, Jérôme of Accor Development Southern Europe.
All attendees were impressed by the hotel, noting that it is a new beacon of hospitality and culture of Athens. Athens Capital Hotel is the first hotel of the MGallery Hotel Collection in the country, introducing the philosophy to the Greek public and at the same time it has developed a very important move for Accor, as Greece has been mentioned as a strategic investment destination internationally.
Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection is the third hotel of the Hellenic Hotel Company LAMPSA SA. in the heart of the capital, after the emblematic Great Britain and King George in Syntagma Square. Having completed a century in the hospitality industry, the historic LAMPSA Hotel Group, which offers experiences of high international standards, is collaborating with Accor for the second time, after the Mercure Excelsior in Belgrade.
