Emirates returns to daily connections between Prague and Dubai, resuming Air Arabia flights in September
Emirates does not yet expect the A380 to return to Prague.
Travelers to the Persian Gulf will have a greater choice of years than before. Following the announced increase in the number of flights to Doha on the Qatar Airways route, Emirates also added flights to Dubai. In September, we will return to Prague and Air Arabia with flights to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
The Emirates still flies to Dubai five times a week. From June 3, it adds a Thursday flight, and from July 5, it also adds a Monday flight. From June 6, there is still a change of departure, when the plane will depart from Prague at 21:35, as well as on Thursday.
Emirates has notified the changes to the ticket sellers in an e-mail, the changes are not yet in the reservation system. The carrier still counts on the deployment of the Boeing 777-300ER. The A380 is not yet to return to Prague.
Four times a week to Sharjah
From September, Air Arabia will also resume connections from Prague. “The United Arab Emirates is currently one of the most visited countries to which passengers fly from Prague. We are pleased that Air Arabia will return with regular traffic during September, offering more alternatives for travel not only to the Middle East, but also to other destinations in the carrier’s network.“Said Jaroslav Filip, Director of Aviation at Prague Airport.
The carrier must fly from Václav Havel Prague Airport from September 22, 2021 to four times a week during the summer and winter flight schedules. Passengers can use direct flights every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The Emirate of Sharjah and the local airport to which the scheduled service is located are about twenty minutes from Dubai. At the same time, it is less than an hour’s drive from the popular tourist resort of Ras al-Khaimah.
Between Prague and Sharjah, Air Arabia will deploy an Airbus A320 aircraft in a configuration for 168 passengers in economy class, which boasts comfortable legroom thanks to a seat spacing of 82 cm throughout the cabin. A modern and higher Airbus A321neo LR, which has a carrier in the fleet, may also appear on the regular route.
