Prague rejects the 900 container in Maleice, the construction has been postponed
The construction, covering an area of about 8,000 meters, is temporarily suspended by a magistrate who acknowledged the remarks of the city districts of Prague 9, 10 and 14. The project was criticized for intending to exhibit translations near the Maleic and Stranice residential areas. City Hall is at the same time fighting deteriorating air quality and a large number of noise levels.
First of all, it follows from the Department of Environmental Protection of the Prague University that the development must complete the documents in these respects.
The most significant effects of the subject change are mainly the effects on the traffic situation in the environment, on the noise situation, air quality, soil, fauna and flora and on the landscape. These and other influences are insufficiently evaluated in the notification and it is necessary to pay attention to them in the framework of the processing documentation, in the master document available to MF DNES.
In the project, the Department of Environmental Protection found shortcomings together in eighteen points. The developer must now prepare assessments of the impact of the construction on traffic, noise analysis and immission near the construction or propose measures to protect protected species.
At the same time, he recommends that the developer with the construction translate the site to the completion of the south-eastern part of the Prask circuit in the section Bchovice – D1, which is designated as the 511 construction.
By his decision, the Master basically acknowledged that our comments are invited and that you need to pay attention to the implemented project. This is good for Prague 10 at first, because it means that the state will not be translated yet and there is a year that the project will stop in full, said the Prague 10 Councilor for Earth Development Bohumil Zoufalk.
The cities did not have enough space to go to the project. They found out about it only last year among the outside and they had an extremely short time at the EIA commemorative study, which assesses the impact of buildings on the environment. The Austrian developer Rail Cargo Terminal has shown interest in translating iron to replace it, which is not working properly on the freight network.
Initially, the construction was completed in 2019 and its completion was completed a year later. That could change now. However, it is not yet clear how big a delay will mean the company for the newly developed documentation project.
Although the Male-Party industry is known in the land for a long time, it is reserved for similar facilities, but it is located in inhabited localities. City Hall is therefore fighting to worsen the environment and increase the intensity of traffic.
Those trains and 120 truck
If a terminal designed for a 900 container was built, there would be about one hundred and twenty trucks to train daily.
According to us, such a problem would have a significant negative impact on thousands of people who have been in the area. In addition, we are concerned that the scope of translation is far from over and could increase in the future, Vladimir Novk (SSD) explained his concerns about the future of the Prague 10 project.
After criticism of the location to translate in Maleice, Prague considered moving the construction by 1,400 meters long to the master lands between Kyje and Jahodnice. There would not only be a need to change the ground, but it would mean so much for such a large number of trucks, because there is no railway in the city.
One of the largest container translations in Europe is located on the outskirts of Prague in Uhnves. Every day there are six and eight freight trains. Terminl handles and ten train at a time. There are twelve kilometers of track in the transhipment area, so there is room for 330 trucks.
