Exhibition: FINLAND SEVEN Emerging architects from Finland.
The FINLAND SEVEN The exhibition produced by the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in cooperation with the Finnish Museum of Architecture and the Architecture Information Center presents Finland’s new generation of architects. These emerging architectural skills have been involved in large projects, as Finland has a well-established tradition through open architectural competitions that encourage “learning by doing”.
Right now, Finland is also experiencing a construction boom caused by it urban changewhere ever-growing cities require adequate infrastructure.
However, in addition to large public works such as schools, universities, churches, libraries, the SUOMI SEVEN exhibition also has small holiday homes. A a complete overview of modern Finnish architecture worthy of the great names of the past who laid the foundation for the design culture of architecture.
The exhibition is curated by Peter Cachola Schmal and Anna Scheuermann (both from DAM) and the director of the Architecture Museum, Juulia Kauste.
