Toulouse. The “Garonne Expose” celebrates its 20th anniversary at the Maison des Associations
The “Garonne Expose” allows professional artists as well as amateur artists, experienced artists as well as artists who work outside the official art gallery circuits, to present their works to the public and outdoors throughout the year.
The interest of the event concerns the artists who meet, discover each other, compare their work, skills and reflections to the point for some of them setting off on new individual or collective projects. In this, the Garonne Expose is a cauldron in which the population lives many artistic projects, a creative bubbling…
At the turn of his walk, the passerby discovers a world made accessible by the project of the association. Beyond the contemplation of the exhibited works, he can, if he wishes, meet the artist and exchange without restraint.
A collective that favors exchanges
The collective of around fifty artists, all techniques combined, exhibit all the
Sundays (and holidays) weather permitting. Each artist has a space of around 3 to 4 linear meters and is required to be present on their stand to welcome visitors.
Also, on the last Sunday of September, La Garonne exhibits organizes its empty workshop on Place St Pierre. The ideal opportunity to meet and exchange, to share in a moment of conviviality always appreciated by artists and Toulouse residents.
