“A voice for San Marino” is the festival born from the collaboration between Media Evolution srl, the Secretariat of State for Tourism, Post Offices, Cooperation and Expo of the Republic of San Marino, and San Marino RTV, the Radio and Television of the Republic of San Marino. The selection will be in one big category for the smallest country competing in the Eurovision Song Contest. Combining territoriality, the participation of new proposals and the presence of already established artists: all under the banner of musical quality and the ability of Una Voce per San Marino to represent a springboard on the international music scene. The Secretary of State of the Republic of San Marino, Federico Pedini Amati, declares: “In consideration of the success of participation, image and public of the first edition, the Ministry of State for Tourism strongly wanted the confirmation of the project “A voice for San Marino” , the music competition that the Republic of San Marino organizes with the aim of finding the best possible voice to defend its colors at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Thanks to the partnership with San Marino RTV and Media Evolution we will re-propose this event which develops over time debit, a first selection phase which from this year will be hosted (on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his death) in the San Marino auditorium dedicated to Little Tony and by a grand final which, like last year, will be broadcast live television . The big news is represented by the absence of categories, adults and beginners will take the same route towards the last act.” The applications were submitted by those who have completed 16 years of age without constraints of citizenship and choice of language in the interpretation of the piece presented for the competition. The training and casting phase is underway and will take place over two days. During the month of February 2023 there will be 5 semi-finals, 4 deriving from the selections and 1 from repechage, which will end with the final on 25 February 2023 where a winner will be identified who will participate in the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest as a representative of the Republic of San Marino.
