“Great satisfaction for the approval by the Senate of the bill ratifying the agreement between Italy and Switzerland on the taxation of frontier workers, which increases the tax exemption to 10,000 euros, compared to the previous 7,500 euros”.
So the San Marino, Emilia Romagna and Marche Interregional Union Council welcomes the news of the approval by the Senate of the draft law ratifying the agreement between Italy and Switzerland relating totaxation of frontier workers, which increases the tax deductible of 10,000 euroscompared to the previous 7,500 euros.
“The hope is that in the next few months the bill will be approved with the exact same text also in the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, after which it can definitively become law – declares the Csir San Marino, Emilia Romagna and Marche in a statement -. Once achieved, it will be about a very important result, which will affect all frontier workers residing in Italy who work in border areas. This objective is primarily the fruit of the great work and commitment made by the Italian Csir for many years, including the Csir San Marino, Emilia Romagna and Marche, starting from the memorandum of understanding of 2011 presented by the national coordinators of the Csir of CGIL, CISL and UIL. Memorandum remained firm for 10 years and then resubmitted in 2020 by the national Csir leaders to the Ministry of Economy and Finance “.
For the more than 7,000 frontier workers who “cross the border of the Republic of San Marino every day to carry out their work, making a decisive contribution to the Titan’s economy”, it is “a right and sacrosanct step forward on the economic level which will make visible a sensitive feature of taxation“.
