Dutch Consulate in Istanbul to be closed

“Demonstrations in Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands where the Qur’an is burned and torn, respectively, may be Western opposing sentiments and may lead to revival of demonstrations and protests,” the statement said.
The statement also said, “Attack aggression against Western transit, restriction missions and places of worship, especially in Istanbul, is increasing. Due to this threat, the Dutch Consulate General in Istanbul has been temporarily closed to the public as of January 30, 2023. The Dutch Embassy in Ankara has digitally and/or It will be physically inherited. Its code is yellow and for a small piece it is orange and red.”
