Albert of Monaco reappears with Charlene and the twins after his third positive Covid test
The day after the celebration of its 45th anniversary in the strictest privacy and discretion – no official portrait, no participation at the funeral of Constantine of Greece -, Charlene of Monaco represented the Royal Family of Monaco on Thursday at one of the most important events in the principality, the beginning of the festivities of Saint Devote, patroness of Monaco. The princess has accepted a significant responsibility, especially for a woman who is still recovering from the health issues she suffered from for a year.
But the former swimmer, now well recovered from the ailments that kept her from attending the festivities last year, decided to do so after the prince albert has tested positive for Covid-19 for the third time. This Friday, however, the prince stepped out onto the balcony of the royal palace to accompany his wife and children, the twins James and gabrieland greet the Monegasques from there, with a mask and keeping your distance.
Solo appearances
Albert of Monaco is recovering from a coronavirus which has no symptoms but for which, despite this brief public appearance, he is in isolation. He therefore remained at the palace, instead of attending the mass designated in honor of the Monegasque patron saint, as Charlene did, accompanied by Melanie Antoinette Costello de Massydaughter of Elizabeth-Ann de Massy, cousin of the Grimaldi family and great ally of the princess in recent times.
Charlène wore gray for the event: suede cape skirt, turtleneck sweater and long jacket. She teamed it with luxurious accessories, knee-high Prada boots and dark leather gloves. Her daughter, meanwhile, wore a bottle green Ralph Lauren coat. The eight-year-old princess is certainly following in the footsteps of family fashionistas.
