OM’s composition against Monaco: Tudor innovates in attack
Tactics, starting lineup, substitutes, absent players: discover the composition of OM against Monaco.
This Saturday, January 28, at 9 p.m., OM host AS Monaco on the occasion of the 20th day of Ligue 1. Victorious over Lyon last weekend, the Olympians have eight successes in a row, in all competitions and aim for the pass of nine against the Monegasques. But it is without two of its executives and with a reorganized offensive line that OM will try to continue their good series.
Clauss too short, Pau Lopez injured
OM will indeed have to do without the services of Jonathan Clauss and Pau Lopez. The French defender is not yet fully recovered from his left adductor injury and Igor Tudor does not want to take any risks with his player. Cengiz ünder should therefore occupy the position of right piston against ASM.
Regarding Pau Lopez, victim of a muscle problem, it is his usual replacement and his compatriot Ruben Blanco who is acting in the cages. This will be the fifth start this season, in all competitions, for OM’s No. 2 goalkeeper.
In attacking, with the absence of Amine Harit (injured in the first leg at Louis-II) and the departures to the winter transfer window of Luis Suarez (Almeria) and Bamba Dieng (Lorient), Tudor only has Only one real striker: Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean should be established at the forefront of the attack and will be supported by Guendouzi (left winger) and Malinovskyi (right winger).
Two notable absentees from AS Monaco
For this poster, Monaco will be deprived of Kevin Volland, who has been absent for three weeks due to a rib injury and judged to be still out of form by his coach, Philippe Clément.
The Belgian bus will also have to do without the services of Mohamed Camara: the midfielder is suspended.
