Pioneers lose their chances against Salzburg – ice hockey –
Weakened Pioneers Vorarlberg were clearly beaten away by Red Bull Salzburg 5-1.
The Pioneers Vorarlberg made a guest appearance at second-placed Salzburg today and were looking for a surprise. The home side were right from the start, but they were the more active and better team. After a good ten minutes, this was also shown by the goal shot statistics of 6 to 1. The first goal came in the 15th minute when Heigl gave Salzburg the lead. Two minutes later, Nissner made it 2-0. But the Pioneers hit back at 4v4 before the break through Jarusek.
