On January 26, the Sainte-Dévote festivities began in Monaco. A traditional celebration among Monegasques that pays homage to their patron saint. The main family is obviously invited to the various masses and ceremonies. Last night, Princess Charlene of Monaco and her two children also made a remarkable appearance on the port.
This morning, Charlène Wittstock arrived at the Cathedral of Monaco and was able to find Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy, the cousin of Prince Albert, who was absent due to his positive test for Covid-19. The mother of Jacques and Gabriella had to perform the princely duty and represent the Grimaldis during the pontifical mass of Sainte-Dévote. On this occasion, the princess had decided to wear an outfit made up of different shades of gray. Her blue eyes were highlighted by ashy makeup, and her short, slicked back hair.

reassuring appearances
After having taken care to greet all the religious representatives, the wife of Albert II settled in the building. Once the mass was over, she returned to the direction of the family palace to make the traditional appearance on the balcony. A few minutes later, the whole family was there to greet the Monegasque crowd.
Despite a positive test for Covid-19, Prince Albert was still present, but chose to wear a protective mask. This family appearance delighted the inhabitants of the Rock. Indeed, last year, the mother of Jacques and Gabriella could not join his family to honor the tradition. She was recovering in a care facility in Switzerland.
