the “ZFE pass” for small riders finally available
“ZFE passes” for small riders can now be requested on the Toulouse Métropole website. They allow parking or driving 52 days a day within the perimeter of the Low Emission Zone.
Notice to small riders. The “ZFE passes” are available from this Wednesday, January 25 on Toulouse Metropolis website. As a reminder, the latter authorize the vehicles concerned by the restrictions, currently the Crit’air 4 or 5, to circular 52 days maximum per year within the scope of the Low Emission Zone (ZFE).
They also allow them to park in the public space of the ZFE on the days when these passes are used. This is because restricted vehicles can only park in a private space, such as a garage, or outside the Low Emission Zone without this derogation.
Who can benefit from the “ZFE pass”?
Those “pass ZFE” is therefore mainly aimed at drivers who drive little In Toulouse. But all individuals and professionals, regardless of their place of residence, can request one. It also doesn’t matter what type of vehicle they have. Cars, trucks and two-wheelers can benefit from this pass.
To be able to travel or park in the Low Emissions Zone, drivers of Crit’air 4 or 5 vehicles must request it no later than 24 hours before their trip. This can be canceled and modified up to the day before. You will not need to specify a reason for using the vehicle for these trips.
You can therefore now obtain a “ZFE pass”. They are available online on the Toulouse Métropole website. On your first request, you will need to create an account or log in, then save your license plate and select the requested day(s). No need to do one per travel day.
A price confirmation taking account of this request will then be sent to you by email. You will need to have it with you when traveling. This confirmation will indeed serve as proof to be presented to the police. And if you park in the EPZ, you’ll need to place it prominently on your vehicle’s dashboard.
