The first official Lyca Mobile store in Portugal has already opened – Marketeer
Lyca Mobile, a mobile virtual operator, has been present in Portugal for ten years, but it is now that it opens the doors of its first official store. The space is located at the Alameda metro station, in Lisbon.
Founded in London in 2006 and present in Portugal since 2012, Lyca Mobile provides low-cost international calls, messages and data on a prepaid basis to more than 16 million customers worldwide.
«The opening of this first store to the public is part of the brand’s expansion plans», reveals, in a statement, António Arnaut, country manager of Lyca Mobile Portugal. «Having an official physical store is our commitment to getting closer to the consumers’ brand and reinforces Lyca’s positioning in Portugal. The choice of location is also a strategic option, as the metro stations handle more than 500,000 customers potentially per day, which results in enormous visibility, with the Alameda station being one of the biggest transport hubs in the city.»
Lyca Mobile cards can still be purchased online, with free delivery throughout the country, in several large distribution stores, stationery stores, kiosks and other points of sale in metro stations or selected shopping centers in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra.
