Forno Gustoit is one of the star pizza brands in Toulouse for several years and the opening of his first restaurant, rue Sainte-Ursule, in 2014.
Under the guidance of his earthy boss, Raffaele Targusi, she decided to create a sensation at the start of 2023 by offering Toulouse residents a pizza that was original to say the least: a pizza served flambéed at the table!
Make way for the Canotto Super Inferno!
The name of this fiery delicacy: the Canotto Super Inferno. The canotto is close to the Neapolitan pizza, the only difference is that the crust is bigger and filled with air like an inflatable boat. The dough is made without yeast and rests a lot longer. “The Super Inferno is notably made up of spianata piccante (charcuterie imported from Italy) and Nduja sauce, decorated with a fresh burrata”, indicates the Forno Gusto brand.
In two restaurants
Currently, Forno Gusto has 16 restaurants in France, in Paris, Cannes (Maritime Alps), Toulouse, Bordeaux (Gironde) and Nice (Alpes Maritimes). But this flambé recipe will only be offered in two restaurants in the Pink City: at Forno Gusto Pizza Village (1, place du Capitole) and at Big Forno Gusto (14, avenue Honoré Serres).
The Super Inferno, which will be an ephemeral pizza, will be available from 1uh February 2023 for two to three months. Wednesday 1uh February, Raffaele Targusi organizes an evening of presentation and tasting in the two restaurants concerned by this curiosity, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
