In just 24 hours, the PSP arrested 38 people in Lisbon
Most arrests (12) were due to driving with a blood alcohol level equivalent to a crime (equal to or greater than 1.2 grams/liter).
The Metropolitan Command of Lisbon of the Public Security Police (PSP) detained, throughout the day of Saturday, a total of 38 people, during the “various operations recorded” carried out in the region, informs a statement to which the TVC had access.
12 of these arrests occurred for driving with a blood alcohol level equivalent to a crime (equal to or greater than 1.2 grams/liter), six for crimes against property, five for driving without a legal license and four for drug trafficking. Two other people were also detained, on whom arrest warrants were pending.
Note also for three arrested for committing crimes of disobedience, one for resistance and coercion against an official, another for possession or trafficking of prohibited weapons and four individuals for other crimes.
The PSP also seized, during the same operations, two firearms, two bladed weapons and 137.04 doses of cannabis.
The Lisbon Command of the PSP also reports the occurrence of a total of 51 road accidents during Saturday, which resulted in 16 minor injuries.
