They told him to stop but instead of doing so he accelerated and ran away. The patrol set off in pursuit between burning red lights and slalom. The carabinieri called for reinforcements and another car from the mobile radio unit and a police car arrived.
The fugitive, who also had a friend on board, took the Genova Ovest toll booth and began his run towards Arenzano, escaping at 180 kilometers per hour. During the mad rush, the worker rammed the military several times and risked running over a worker engaged in a construction site who managed to save himself by throwing himself to the side. During the escape, the two carabinieri patrols also touched given the boy’s reckless maneuvers.
Eventually the car was stopped at Arenzano. The young man was arrested for resisting the public official and injuries.
