The 5 recognized Wine Bar
In France, 10,000 wine lists are detected by Terre de Vins. The 2023 Card Tour Trophy jury then goes around more than 1,000 cards. The objective: to create a list of these French wine lists. And this year the 5 Wine Bar in Toulouse is one of the award winners.
The special prize that the establishment received was named to them by IGP Pays d’Oc wines on Monday. Nathan Menou, head sommelier, and Philippe Meynadier, owner, said:
We wanted to participate in the Tour des Cartes for the challenge it represents, the fame and visibility it could bring us and the pleasure of competing! This prize will bring us recognition in the world of wine, and it is a great positive return on our substantive work, without concession”.
It should also be noted that three establishments in the Occitania region are among the event’s 100 finalists.
The winners of 2023
If the quality of the wine list of the 5 Wine bar distinguished itself at the 2023 Tour des Cartes Trophy, other French establishments were winners of this 2023 edition.
