Toulouse. The Region hosts the Digi’Talent show
The digital sector is recruiting in Occitania. In order to publicize the positions to be filled in this sector, the training and the aid to access them, the Occitanie Region, Pôle Emploi, and the union of digital companies Numeum are organizing a new edition of Digi’Talent in Toulouse, on January 23 next, for the first time at the Hôtel de Région. On this occasion, the public is invited to meet directly with training organizations and recruiters looking for employees.
Following the success of the show in 2022, Digi’Talent is returning to allow the general public (young people, job seekers, employees in retraining, etc.) to win with the digital sector, which is booming in Occitania (with a growth in recruitment needs forecast at nearly 6% in 2023). A real springboard to employment, this show is an opportunity to meet digital training organizations as well as companies looking for employees.
Among the skills sought: web and mobile web developer, senior infrastructure and network technician, support technician, help desk, cybersecurity engineer, data, big data, designer developer in artificial intelligence, or system or production engineer.
On the program for the day: a job dating, with the presence of 33 companies looking for new talent, meetings with training organizations (information, retraining, work-study training, etc.), conferences and testimonials.
In Toulouse, the Digi’Talent fair will be run on Monday January 23 at 10:30 a.m. by Marc Szultman, regional councilor representing the President of the Region, Carole Delga, alongside in particular Annick Sénat, Territorial Director of Haute-Garonne and representative of Pôle Emploi , Anne Destouches, Regional Delegate of Numeum and representatives of the partners. Together they will meet the participants and exhibitors.
“Companies in the digital sector have a strong need for skills, with sometimes difficulty in recruiting. Our role is to support them so that they succeed and find the talents necessary for their development and thus create quality jobs. This is the whole meaning of the Pact for hiring in Occitania that we launched with the first 50 partners to remove the obstacles to employment, in all territories, in particular in jobs in tension such as digital. Digi’Talent is an emblematic action of this collective work,” says Carole Delga, President of the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region.
In Toulouse, Monday January 23, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Toulouse Region Hotel, 22 Boulevard du Maréchal Juin, 31400 Toulouse.
