Toulouse indoor trial: seven mercenaries in pursuit of Bou
If the meeting in Toulouse is not part of the world circuit of the X-Trial, the best pilots will however be there, Saturday evening, at the Zénith.
Three Spaniards, a Norwegian, a Frenchman, an Englishman and an Italian (Grattarola has withdrawn from the Toulouse stage), these are the nationalities of the drivers who are competing for the X-Trial world circuit this season. They will be the opponents of Toni Bou during the official events, but also during exhibitions like in Toulouse, Saturday evening. We present to you these seven mercenaries launched in pursuit of the world number one.
> Adam Raga (ESP)
40 years old, TRRS
He is Toni Bou’s great rival, the one who constantly pushes him to his last limits. He has just beaten him in Sheffield, at the beginning of January!
> Jaime Busto (ESP)
25 years old, Gas Gas
The Basque driver has talent and also knows how to win. He proved it last November by winning the X-Trial round in Andorra ahead of… Bou and Raga please!
> Benoit Bincaz (FRA)
26 years old, Sherco
He has been the best French driver for several seasons now. He has become a safe bet on the world circuit and is still in ambush for a place on the podium.
> Aniol Gelabert (ESP)
23 years old, Beta
The injured Italian Grattarola is the young Aniol Gelabert (brother of the famous Miquel) who takes his place. And not to make up the numbers!
> Gabriel Marcelli (ESP)
22 years old, Montesa Honda
He is a promising youngster and the Repsol team was not mistaken. Author of a podium in Budapest last year, he must now show himself more regularly.
> Toby Martyn (ENG)
22 years old, Montesa Honda
This is the future of the British school. At 15, he was young world champion in X-Trial before winning the Trial 2 world title in 2021. To be continued.
> Sonder Haga (NOR)
23 years old, Beta
The Norwegian giant (1m90) is also closely followed because he is the 2022 world champion of Trial 2.
