Men’s national team: At the start in Geneva against Israel
The Swiss men’s national team will play the first home international match of the new year in Geneva. Opponents of the game in the context of the European Championship qualifier 2024 in the Stade de Genève on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, 8:45 p.m., will be Israel.
For the most part, the “Nati” have very good memories of the Geneva stadium. Switzerland have won six of their seven competitive matches since the stadium opened in 2003, the only defeat being a 1-0 defeat by Spain in the UEFA Nations League in early June 2022.
The venues for the other home games of the “Nati” in 2023 have already been determined with one exception:
Monday, June 19, 8:45 p.m.: Switzerland – Romania in Lucerne (European Qualifiers, swissporarena)
Tuesday, September 12, 8:45 p.m.: Switzerland – Andorra in Sion (European Qualifiers, Tourbillon)
Sunday, October 15, 6:00 p.m.: Switzerland – Belarus in St. Gallen (European Qualifiers, kybunpark)
Saturday, November 18, 8:45 p.m.: Switzerland – Kosovo (European Qualifiers, Venue/Stadium tbd)
Switzerland’s 2024 European Championship qualifier begins on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 6 p.m. with the away game against Belarus. This game will take place behind closed doors in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Ticket sales for the duel with Israel started on Monday, February 27, 2023, as usual exclusively
