Solidarity organizes to help a family victim of a fire in Caen
A two-year-old boy and his 28-year-old aunt died Friday morning in a fire, probably accidental, in the Haie Vigné district of Caen. A human drama, above all, which is also coupled, too often, with financial difficulties. A tragedy, above all, which affected those close to the family. Valérie Villenave, a neighbour, is behind the Leetchi pots
: “We were all overwhelmed. This kitty is a natural surge of solidarity, of support for this family that we know through our respective children. We all live in a neighborhood in which there is a lot of sharing, solidarity . Our children continue to study together in middle school or high school. You know, as soon as it affects the children, a mom, it has an impact on everyone.” The kitty, which is a great success, confirms this momentum of solidarity.
In addition to the money collected which should allow the relatives of the victims to relocate and pay part of the funeral in particular, a collection point will take place on Monday at 1 p.m. in the Boulanger car park in Mondeville 2. The family is looking for clothes for women in size S/M as well as clothes for children aged 6 and 12 and toys for a 6 year old child. Hoping, here too, that the call for solidarity will be heard.
