The Sala BBK in Bilbao dedicates a cycle to Basque women such as Maren, Esti Markez and Anne Etchegoyen
The bbk room de Bilbao will start its 2023 musical program with the Biscayan singer Inaki Uranga, exMocedades and current member of El Consorcio, at the beginning of February. The cultural center, which will also offer a day dedicated to the swing, will dedicate his BBK Gertutik cycle exclusively to Basque-speaking women such as Maren, Esti Marquez and Anne Etchegoyen.
Inaki Uranga opens the musical program of Sala BBK on February 4 with the presentation of his own show Good time… The current member of El Consorcio, a beloved and popular singer especially in Bizkaia, will review his solo repertoire –he has three of his own albums– along with other songs that have marked him, now with a new focus and backed by a band of five experienced musicians.
The next day, February 5, the BBK swing 2023 will flood the space of the Gran Vía with the rhythms of “the roaring 20s” throughout the day. The day had an open dance class in the morning in which the teachers of Little Harlem–Bilboko Swing Dantza Eskola they will teach swing steps, lindy hop, charleston… Already at 7:00 p.m., the concert of the Sevillian band O Sister!
