Mercato: Saïd Hamulic has arrived in Toulouse
We announced it to you yesterday, The Midi Dispatch writes it today: the Bosnian striker has arrived in Toulouse for his medical examination and to settle some administrative details. The transfer, the order of 2 million euros, and the signing of a three and a half year contract will be formalized very quickly.
22 years old, Hamulic had the particularity of being born in the Netherlands, but of having revealed himself in Lithuania at DFK Dainava Alytus (16 goals in 36 games in 2020/2021) then at FK Suduva Marijampole (6 goals in 13 games in 2021/ 2022), then in Poland this season (9 goals and 4 assists in 17 games). The last days, Said Hamulic has received interest from several European clubs, such as Celtic and La Spezia, and even from teams playing in MLS. Bordeaux would also have tried their luck, in vain. It is in Toulouse that he will continue his career.
Philippe Montanier will therefore be able to benefit from an additional scorer, who relies on Thijs Dallinga and Teen Onaiwu since August. The club also anticipates the very probable departure of Rhys Healey next summer. The Englishman will come to the end of his contract and hasn’t recommended continuing at Toulouse so far.
