Euromillions without totalists, but second (good) prize came out in Portugal
NoThere were no totalists in the Euromillions draw 005/2023 this Tuesday, January 17th, but there is good news for a bettor in Portugal, as there is a second prize on the way to our country.
According to the official website of the Santa Casa Games, a second prize was awarded in Portugal, worth 82,263.66 euros. In total, there were six bettors who matched five numbers and one star from the winning bracket and managed to raise this amount.
Three other bettors abroad were also entitled to a third prize, in the amount of 38,452.74 euros.
Since nobody hit the winning bracket today, the ‘jackpot’ has grown to 30 million euros, which will be drawn as early as next Friday.
It should be noted that, in Portugal, awarded prizes worth more than 5,000 euros are subject to stamp duty, at the legal rate of 20%, under the terms of the legislation in force.
