The advice of the Secretary of the Territory
In recent weeks, events have once again demonstrated the short-sightedness of our Propaganda Secretary, Stefano Canti. Not that there was any need compared to the demonstrations of total incompetence and inadequacy, often seasoned with blatant falsehoods, provided by the same during his mandate: from nothing done in terms of projects and achievements, to the poor management of waste collection in the area for which, after three years of squandering and objectives not even remotely achieved, a return to door-to-door collection is being aired; from the complete drift of the AASLP also due to the purges he wanted, to the amazing announcements of the last few days on the “rescue” of Palazzo Valloni, when instead one would have to wonder, after three long years, what Canti is still waiting to start those works , as usual today only pompously announced. How can we fail to mention the story of the PRG where, shouting “forward without Boeri”, the Secretary of Propaganda forgets that the figure of the mirrored designer was above all a guarantee of a vision of the future of our country for the benefit of all and not solely for the endorsement of interests of a few.
Not to mention the unjustifiable and prolonged holiday stays in Sharm with questionable delegations and the gala dinners organized in the face of the discomfort of these inauspicious periods.
It is therefore news of the last few weeks, widely documented by the Italian press, that the neighboring administrations are collaborating successfully with the University of San Marino by adopting and modifying the same methods as the agreements signed at the time between the University and AASLP and not renewed at the behest of Canti . There’s more: it is still news in recent weeks that two important local administrations have announced tenders for the long-term maintenance of the roads – for a total amount exceeding 17 million euros – on the basis of the technical platform that our University had drawn up for the San Marino administration and which the Propaganda Secretary intends to throw away in favor of an already signed consultancy with the Milan Polytechnic.
In short, Canti and a few of his acolytes have scuttled the precious collaboration with the University which instead was immediately seized upon by our neighbors. Could it be because the University also had as its research focus the monitoring of the road network and the planning of road maintenance and this hindered the Secretary’s patronage policy? Ah yes, he says that the agreement with the University cost too much: 90,000 euros in 5 years compared to 150,000 in one fell swoop, paid to an external consultant with an agreement that Canti keeps in his drawer despite the long-standing interpellation from Future Republic. But if the technical documentation drawn up in collaboration with the University, now also adopted by the neighboring administrations, were to be trashed and replaced with that drawn up by the new and salty consultant, why is the AASLP continuing to use it even for the amazing works? strategic” and “priority”? The data relating to the costs of the collaboration between the University and the AASLP were communicated late, which however we were forced to request with a second interpellation after Canti, through a newspaper, had provided incomprehensible reconstructions in response to the interpellations filed by the opposition on the matter.
Perhaps finally it will be possible to see clearly also on the accounting assertions of the Propaganda Secretary. Surprises would not surprise us.
