Höckinger SV organizes top-class youth tournaments for the U13 and U11 at the weekend
In the Landau triple gym, things really get going at the weekend: Höckinger SV organizes two youth tournaments with top-class players. On Saturday (from 10:30 a.m.) the D-Juniors (U13) competition will take place, on Sunday (also from 10:30 a.m.) it will be the turn of the E-Youths (U11).
The highlight of the Sparkasse Junior Cup is the U13 gang kick, in which the youngsters from RB Salzburg and TSV 1860 Munich, among others, start. With the offspring of the Austrian Bundesliga club Josko Ried and the talents of FC Ingolstadt and SpVgg Unterhaching, other top clubs are there. The field is completed by the regional elite: Wacker Burghausen, SpVgg GW Deggendorf and FC Dingolfing have it in their hearts to annoy the favorites. TSV Grünwald, who is coached by former Bayern professional and ex-national player Christian Nerlinger, is taking part from Upper Bavaria. The U13s from the Saxon cult club FC Lokomotive Leipzig are already arriving on Friday afternoon to be able to take part in the Höckinger Hallen spectacle. It starts at 10:30 a.m. The first quarter-finals are to be kicked off at around 4:30 p.m. The final is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.

The U11 tournament is not quite as top-class, although a number of well-known clubs also take part. The driving forces are SpVgg Unterhaching, Linzer ASK, FC Carl-Zeiss Jena and SV Wacker Burghausen. The starting shot is on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The knockout games begin shortly after 2:30 p.m., and the final takes place at 5 p.m.
