Wissam Ben Yedder MVP of the trip to Lorient
Author of the equalizer in added time, the Monegasque captain allowed AS Monaco to take a point at Moustoir, and was MVP of this match for the 8th time since the start of the season.
He repeated his performance for the 2020-2021 season! While AS Monaco was at the time led two goals to one at Stade Louis-II facing Lorient, Wissam Ben Yedder scored the equalizer in the 92nd minute. This Wednesday, at the Stade du Moustoir, the Red and Whites were also behind on this score before the Monegasque captain turns back into the skin of the savior.
Three Units by Christian Dalger
On a perfect cross from Ismail Jakobs, he is indeed at the reception to catapult the ball with his head and deceive the former Monegasque Vito Mannone at close range. This but registered in additional time thus offers a point to the Red and White and confirms the good dynamics interviewed in the league since the resumption (two wins, one draw).

With this achievement, the 86th in the Monegasque colors, Wissam Ben Yedder then came a little closer to the 89 of Christian Dalger, third top scorer in the history of the Club.
His eighth MVP title
Entering the game on the hour mark, the number 10 of the Red and Whites also once again showed off his talent as a supersub. Since his arrival during the 2019 summer transfer window, he has scored 13 goals in these circumstances. That’s at least 7 more than any other Ligue 1 player.
And this number could have risen to 14 without a decisive headline from the Lorient goalkeeper, and this when he had made a very good volley (67th). It is therefore logical that he was elected MVP on the AS Monaco App with nearly 53% of the votes. His 8th title this season. Well done Capi!
